Biological Science
Biology is the study of living things (organisms). Biology is classed as a type of science so reporting information using a scientific report format. Throughout the following 3 lessons you will be taught how to write a scientific report. We will be conducting experiments and writing them up. At the end of this learning experience you will be assessed on if you can write up a scientific report correctly and accurately. Follow the links below to reach the lessons.

An Introduction to Biology and plants
What is Biology?This lesson introduces students to what biology is. Students produce a brainstorm of what they understand biology is.

Scientific MethodThis lesson is split up into multiple section. Each section looks in depth at the different parts of the scientific method.

Soil ExperimentThis lesson focuses on students practicing their skills that they have learnt in previous lessons, to produce a scientific report.

Parts of a PlantThis lesson helps students to identify the parts of a plant. Students label a diagram of a plant & explain their functions.

Animal Adaptation Documentary task
Your task is to select an animal that lives in an extreme environment and describe their relative adaptations (ACSSU094). You will present your information as a documentary that will be played in the final lesson. Your documentary should be informative and contain all the relevant information listed on the task sheet.
