In our multicultural society, we have access to many different cultures and their cuisines. The influence of other cultures is seen by the variety of foods that are now available in supermarkets and restaurants.
Students will be tasked to investigate a country of their own heritage. They will create a presentation on that country to show to the class. They will also have to choose a recipe from the countries breakfast or morning menu. They will comment on how healthy they think the breakfast item is. As a unit ending party, each student will then make their recipe at home and bring it in to share with the class on the last lesson. |
