Task Overview
Your task is to investigate and compare the lifestyle of a children born in the colonial period, to a child born in the 21st century. (ACHHK107). You will need to work with a partner to create a compare and contrast of the differences in the two children. You must compare the differences in the children lifestyles. Use the Digibook on Colonial Life along with the inquiry question to aid you in your investigation.

- What did they use for transport?
- How did they communicate with people far away?
- How did their personal lives change?
- What did they do for entertainment?
- How did school work?
- What was their role (chores) at home?
- How did their homes and rooms look?
- Inference: What was the biggest change that took place?
- Think about the thing that changed the most drastically and identify it. Why do you think this changed?
Using your research draw the differences in clothing, food, transport, toys and anything else you find. Make sure to annotate and label your drawings.
